I will be working with this ministry in one of the Olympic cities in the UK with the April DTS outreach team! Please continue to pray for finances (I still need most of the funds, but I know breakthrough is right around the corner!) team unity, and mission strategies!

Faith is believing that something will happen before it happens. Faith is believing that you will have what you need even if you have nothing. Faith is a strong assurance in God’s character, knowing that even if you can’t see the solution to your problem, God can.

GATHERING GOD’S OUTCASTS AND PREPARING THEM FOR BATTLE…

Hey guys and dolls! I’m mostly making this as a reference, so that instead of typing this over and over, I will have a link to refer to.

As you might know (or might not) YWAMers do not earn any salary. Even the top dogs in YWAM do not receive a salary. We all have to get our own support. You might be surprised to know that most missionaries function this way. The amount is not as important as the consistency. I am praying for partners who will give an affordable amount each month. This makes it easy for many people to get involved in helping me equip missionaries and reach the skate culture of Australia in a variety of ways. Please let me know what you decide. Most of all, be led by the Holy Spirit.

YWAM Foundational Value #16

PRACTICE
DEPENDENCE
ON
GOD
FOR
FINANCES

YWAM
is
called
 to
practice
a
life
of
dependence
upon
God
for
financial
 provision.

For
individuals
and
 YWAM
 corporately
this
 comes
primarily
 through
His
people.

As
God
 and
others
have
been
generous
towards
us,
 so
we
desire
to
be
generous. YWAMers
give
themselves,
their
time
and
 talents
to
 God
through
the
mission
with
no
expectations
of
 remuneration.

  • PayPal. Probably the easiest method if you’re not necessarily concerned about tax deductibility. All my email addresses are linked to my PayPal account, so any of them will work.
  • Donate Online. Our base has a link for donations directly on our website. Be sure you make a note of who it is for. This goes straight to my Staff Fees account or my Outreach account. (International donations are not tax deductible.) http://ywamnewcastle.com/donations/
  • Write A Check. If you need your donation to be tax deductible, you can write out a check to “Rise Above” and mail it to:
    Rise Above Ministries

    San Antonio, TX 78233

Make sure you put my name in the memo!
  • If you’re in Australia, you can direct deposit into my Aussie Bank Account.

Thank you for your prayers and support. They mean heaps!!!

Once you’ve experienced the life of faith, it ruins you for the ordinary.

aprildts2012:

Last week one of our students, Brock, shared at the public meeting about 24 hour prayer. The previous weekend we did a 24 hour prayer chain with the base. It was really an amazing time as we sought God through all hours of the day. Brock shared about his growing desire for intimacy with God and his stirring to make a greater difference in the world.

Just a friendly reminder that being a full-time missionary in Australia is not a phase I’m going through. This is my life.

And for those of you who told me I couldn’t be in ministry because of my gender, I still love you.

Cheers. Mate.
